大念住经：集谛解说

　　诸比丘！什麽是苦集圣谛？

　　[b] “And what is the noble truth of the origination of stress?

　　那种爱是(能)再生，与喜染俱行，处处全然欢喜 ，

　　The craving that makes for further becoming -- accompanied by passion & delight, relishing now here & now there --

　　这就是：欲爱、有爱、无有爱。

　　i.e., craving for sensuality, craving for becoming, craving for non-becoming.

　　诸比丘！那渴爱生起时在哪裡生起，住着时在哪裡住着 ？

　　“And where does this craving, when arising, arise? And where, when dwelling, does it dwell?

　　凡在世间有令人喜欢的形色、令人愉悦的形色，在这裡渴爱生时生，在这裡住时住。

　　Whatever is endearing & alluring in terms of the world: that is where this craving, when arising, arises. That is where, when dwelling, it dwells.

　　什麽是世间令人喜欢的形色、令人愉悦的形色？眼在世间为令人喜欢的形色、令人愉悦的形色，

　　“And what is endearing & alluring in terms of the world? The eye is endearing & alluring in terms of the world.

　　渴爱生起时在这裡生起，住着时在这裡住着。

　　That is where this craving, when arising, arises. That is where, when dwelling, it dwells.

　　在世间的耳…在世间的鼻…在世间的舌…在世间的身…在世间的意

　　“The ear... The nose... The tongue... The body... The intellect...

　　为令人喜欢的形色、令人愉悦的形色，在这裡渴爱生时生，在这裡住时住。

　　Whatever is endearing & alluring in terms of the world: that is where this craving, when arising, arises. That is where, when dwelling, it dwells.

　　在世间的众色…在世间的众声…在世间的众香…在世间的众味…在世间的众触…

　　“Forms... Sounds... Smells... Tastes... Tactile sensations... Ideas...

　　在世间的诸法为令人喜欢的形色、令人愉悦的形色，

　　is endearing & alluring in terms of the world:

　　渴爱生起时在这裡生起，住着时在这裡住着。

　　that is where this craving, when arising, arises. That is where, when dwelling, it dwells.

　　在世间的眼识…在世间的耳识…在世间的鼻识…在世间的舌识…

　　“Eye-consciousness... Ear-consciousness... Nose-consciousness... Tongue-consciousness...

　　在世间的身识…在世间的意识 为令人喜欢的形色、令人愉悦的形色，

　　Body-consciousness... Intellect-consciousness...

　　is endearing & alluring in terms of the world:

　　渴爱生起时在这裡生起，住着时在这裡住着。

　　that is where this craving, when arising, arises. That is where, when dwelling, it dwells.

　　在世间的眼触…在世间的耳触…在世间的鼻触…

　　“Eye-contact... Ear-contact... Nose-contact...

　　在世间的舌触…在世间的身触…在世间的意触为令人喜欢的形色、令人愉悦的形色，

　　Tongue-contact...Body-contact... Intellect-contact...

　　is endearing & alluring in terms of the world:

　　渴爱生起时在这裡生起，住着时在这裡住着。

　　that is where this craving, when arising, arises. That is where, when dwelling, it dwells.

　　在世间的眼触所生之受…在世间的耳触所生之受…

　　“Feeling born of eye-contact... Feeling born of ear-contact...

　　在世间的鼻触所生之受…在世间的舌触所生之受…

　　Feeling born of nose-contact... Feeling born of tongue-contact...

　　在世间的身触所生之受…在世间的意触所生之受，在世间为令人喜欢的形色、令人愉悦的形色，

　　Feeling born of body-contact... Feeling born of intellect-contact...

　　is endearing & alluring in terms of the world:

　　渴爱生起时在这裡生起，住着时在这裡住着。

　　that is where this craving, when arising, arises. That is where, when dwelling, it dwells.

　　在世间的色想…在世间的声想…在世间的香想…在世间的味想…

　　“Perception of forms... Perception of sounds... Perception of smells... Perception of tastes...

　　在世间的触想…法想为令人喜欢的形色、令人愉悦的形色，

　　Perception of tactile sensations... Perception of ideas...

　　is endearing & alluring in terms of the world:

　　渴爱生起时在这裡生起，住着时在这裡住着。

　　that is where this craving, when arising, arises. That is where, when dwelling, it dwells.

　　在世间的色思 …在世间的声思…在世间的香思…在世间的味思…

　　“Intention for forms... Intention for sounds... Intention for smells... Intention for tastes...

　　在世间的触思…在世间的法思为令人喜欢的形色、令人愉悦的形色，

　　Intention for tactile sensations... Intention for ideas...

　　is endearing & alluring in terms of the world:

　　渴爱生起时在这裡生起，住着时在这裡住着。

　　that is where this craving, when arising, arises. That is where, when dwelling, it dwells.

　　在世间的色爱…在世间的声爱…在世间的香爱…在世间的味爱…
